3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 12903 and the following apply to this document.
3.1
Self-contained open-circuit compressed air breathing apparatus uses the mask to fit closely around the wearer's face, isolating the wearer's respiratory organs, eyes and face from the outside toxic and harmful air or oxygen-deficient environment.
A type of respirator that is completely isolated and requires the personnel to carry their own clean compressed air as the breathing air source, and the exhaled gas is directly discharged into the ambient air.
3.2
Emergency air breathing apparatus self-contained open-circuit compressed air breathing apparatus for fire-fighting andemergencyservices A self-contained
open-circuit compressed air breathing apparatus used by workers undertaking emergency tasks such as firefighting, hazardous chemicals disposal, and rescue.
3.3
Industrial air respirator self-contained open-circuit compressed air breathing apparatus for industrial services In addition to the emergency air respirator applicable areas, mining, petrochemical, industry and trade, smelting, transportation, municipal construction, public utilities and other
A self-contained open-circuit compressed air respirator used by workers in various industries.
3.4
Static pressure is the pressure inside the mask
cavity when the air circuit of the air respirator is balanced after the positive pressure device of the air supply valve is opened.
4 Classification and labeling
4.1 Classification
4.1.1 Classification by applicable occasions
According to their applicable occasions, air respirators are divided into: a) industrial air respirators, marking code: GY; b) emergency air respirators, marking code: YJ.
4.1.2 Classification by gas cylinder material
According to the type of gas cylinder material, air breathing apparatus
are divided into: a) seamless steel gas cylinders, marked with
code: G; b) aluminum alloy liner carbon fiber fully wrapped gas cylinders (referred to as "composite gas cylinders"), marked with code: F.
4.1.3 Classification by nominal volume of gas cylinders
The nominal volume of the gas cylinder of an air breathing apparatus should be no less than 3 L and no more than 12 L. Gas cylinders may be marked as 3, 4.7, 6.8, 8, 9, 12, etc. according to their actual nominal volume.
4.2 Marking
