This standard specifies the type and classification, technical requirements, inspection rules and mark of flameproof electrical machines.
This standard is applicable to the flameproof electrical machines for a variety of purposes. If the electrical machine for a variety of purposes has additional requirements unspecified in this standard, supplementary provisions shall be specified in the standard of this type of electrical machine.
If the electrical machine for certain purpose has special requirements for the clauses of this standard, special provisions shall be specified in the standard of this type of electrical machine.
Those not specified in this standard shall comply with the requirements of GB 3836.2 and GB 755.
