This is Part 10 of GB (GB/T) 6675 Safety of toys. The following parts of GB (GB/T) 6675 have been issued:

Introduction
GB (GB/T) 6675 Safety of toys and GB/T 19865 Safety of electric toys constitute a toy safety standard system. Toys that meet the requirements of these documents will reduce the potential dangers caused by the intended use (normal use) and the unintended use (reasonably foreseeable abuse).
GB (GB/T) 6675 Safety of toys includes basic code, general requirements and specific requirements, and it intends to consist:
- Part 1: Basic code; It is developed to standardize the basic safety requirements of toy products.
- Part 2: Mechanical and physical properties;
It is developed to standardize the general requirements of mechanical and physical properties of toy products.
- Part 3: Flammability;
It is developed to standardize the general requirements of flammability of toy products.
- Part 4: Migration of certain elements;
It is developed to standardize the general requirements of migratable elements of toy products.
- Part 9: Experimental sets for chemistry and related activities;
It is developed to standardize the specific requirements of such toy products.
- Part 10: Olfactory board games, cosmetic kits and gustative games;
It is developed to standardize the specific requirements of such toy products.
- Part 11: Swings, slides and similar activity toys for indoor and outdoor family domestic use;
It is developed to standardize the specific requirements of such toy products.
- Part 13: Chemical toys (sets) other than experimental sets;
It is developed to standardize the specific requirements of such toy products.
- Part 14: Requirements and test methods of finger paints.
It is developed to standardize the specific requirements of such toy products.
This document specifies the specific requirements for olfactory board games, cosmetic kits and gustative games, and shall be used in combination with GB 6675.1, GB 6675.2, GB 6675.3, GB 6675.4 and GB/T 19865.
This document cannot and does not intend to exempt parents from their responsibilities, including the responsibility of choosing suitable toys and the responsibility of supervision when children of different ages touch the same toy.

1 Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements, equipment, warning and labeling, instructions for use, contents list and first aid information of olfactory board games, cosmetic kits and gustative games and their supplementary sets.
This document applies to olfactory board games, cosmetic kits and gustative games and their supplementary sets
This document does not apply to toy cosmetics.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
olfactory board game
toys designed to help children learn to identify different scents and fragrances
Note: olfactory board games include smell identification and/or tasting, as tasting ultimately relies on the sense of smell to identify scents and flavors.
3.2
cosmetic kit
toys designed to assist children in learning how to make items such as perfume, soap, creams, shampoo, body wash, lip gloss, lipstick or other cosmetics, toothpaste, and conditioner
3.3
gustative game
toys designed for making candies or dishes using food ingredients such as candies, liquids, powders, and perfume
Note: Gustative games are referred to as gustative sets and food making sets.
3.4
supplementary set
set intentionally designed to be used in conjunction with olfactory board games, cosmetic kits and gustative games

packaging
accessories attached with the toy purchased, but without play functions

4 Technical requirements
4.1 Olfactory board game
4.1.1 General requirements
Olfactory board game, if applicable, shall provide instructions for use that comply with the requirements of Clause 7 and first aid information that meets the requirements of Clause 8.
4.1.2 Substance and mixture
4.1.2.1 Olfactory board game that utilizes substances and mixtures classified as food flavorings or other food ingredients
Only substances and mixtures considered as food flavorings and food ingredients are permitted.
Note: Food flavorings and other food ingredients are subjected to relevant food standards, such as GB 2760.
4.1.2.2 Olfactory board game that utilizes substances and mixtures other than food flavorings or other food ingredients
Substances or mixtures, other than those considered as food flavorings and other food ingredients, may also be used if they are evaluated as not posing a risk under normal conditions of use, taking into account children's behavior.
Example: Substances classified as skin sensitizers that cannot come into contact with the skin during use are allowed.
Note: Food ingredients are subjected to relevant food standards, such as GB 2760.
4.1.2.3 Additional requirements for all types of olfactory board games
Preservatives may only be used in olfactory board games and their supplementary sets if they are assessed as posing no risk under intended and foreseeable conditions of use, taking into account children's behavior.
Olfactory board games and their supplementary sets intended for children under 36 months of age shall not contain any sensitizing fragrance listed in Table 1. Other olfactory board games and their supplementary sets may contain sensitizing fragrances listed in Table 1, and they shall be labeled with the corresponding warnings specified in 6.1 if containing such fragrances. Olfactory board games and their supplementary sets shall not contain any sensitizing fragrance listed in Table 2. However, if trace residues of sensitizing fragrances are technically unavoidable under good manufacturing practice, they are permitted, provided that the content of each individual sensitizing fragrance does not exceed 100 mg/kg.
Olfactory board games and their supplementary sets that involve tasting shall only contain substances permitted by food standards and comply with the requirements of relevant food standards.
Note 1: The assessment of preservatives shall refer to the Safety and Technical Standards for Cosmetics (2015 Edition) and GB 2760.
Note 2: Certain substances, such as coumarin, are not permitted according to GB 2760-2024.
