3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 16803 and the following apply to this document.
3.1
Regeneration temperature
The air temperature entering the regeneration zone of the desiccant wheel.
3.2
Low regeneration temperature rotary solid desiccant outdoor air processor
An air conditioning unit that uses a desiccant wheel with a regeneration temperature not exceeding 70°C as the basic component, and other air treatment devices as auxiliary components, capable of performing dehumidification, humidification, cooling, heating, and purification treatments on outdoor air.
3.3
Outdoor air regeneration type
A type of unit that, when performing desiccant wheel adsorption dehumidification treatment on the outdoor air supplied indoors, uses outdoor air as the regeneration (desorption) airflow for the wheel.
3.4
Exhaust air regeneration type
A type of unit that, when performing desiccant wheel adsorption dehumidification treatment on the outdoor air supplied indoors, uses indoor exhaust air as the regeneration (desorption) airflow for the wheel.
3.5
Processing side
The air side that directly treats the outdoor air supplied indoors.
3.6
Auxiliary side
The air side that indirectly assists in achieving the outdoor air treatment.
Note: When performing desiccant wheel adsorption dehumidification treatment on the outdoor air supplied indoors, the auxiliary side is the air side for wheel regeneration (desorption); when performing desiccant wheel desorption humidification treatment on the outdoor air supplied indoors, the auxiliary side is the air side for wheel adsorption.
3.7
Available external static pressure
For the processing side or auxiliary side of the unit under corresponding airflow rate, the difference between the outlet air total pressure and the inlet air total pressure.
Note: The unit is Pascal (Pa).
3.8
Net outdoor airflow ratio in supply air
For exhaust air regeneration type units, the ratio of the outdoor air volume flow rate contained in the supply air from the processing side to the supply airflow rate.
Note: Expressed as a percentage.
3.9
Internal air leakage ratio
Within the unit, the ratio of the airflow leaking from the auxiliary side into the processing side to the nominal supply airflow rate.
Note: Expressed as a percentage.
3.10
External air leakage ratio
The ratio of the airflow leaking into or out of the unit through casing gaps to the nominal supply airflow rate.
Note: Expressed as a percentage.
3.11
Standard air
Air at a barometric pressure of 101.3 kPa, a dry-bulb temperature of 20°C, a wet-bulb temperature of 15.8°C, and a density of 1.2 kg/m³.
4 Classification and Marking
4.1 Classification
4.1.1 Units are classified by the type of regeneration airflow used during dehumidification, into outdoor air regeneration type and exhaust air regeneration type, with codes X and P respectively.
4.1.2 Units are classified by the type of cooling/heating source, into heat pump type, chilled/hot water type, and dual cold source type, with codes R, L, and S respectively.
4.1.3 Units are classified by whether the supply air is temperature-controlled, into temperature-controlled type and non-temperature-controlled type, with codes T and F respectively.
Note: Schematic diagrams and descriptions of various unit structures are given in Appendix A.
4.2 Marking
The marking method for the units is as follows:
5 General Requirements
5.1 Basic Provisions
5.1.1 Units shall be manufactured according to drawings and technical documents approved through prescribed procedures.
5.1.2 Air cleaning devices configured in the units shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T 34012.
5.1.3 Air coolers and air heaters configured in the units shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T 14296.
5.1.4 Air filters configured in the units shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T 14295. The air inlet on the processing side shall be equipped with an air filter with a filtration efficiency not lower than Z1.
