GB/T 22931-2008 Leather and fur - Chemical tests - Determination of plasticizers
1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the content of six plasticizers (see Annex A) in leather and fur.
This standard is applicable to various leathers and furs and their products.
2 Normative references
The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard. For dated references, subsequent amendments to (excluding correction to), or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However, parties to agreements based on this standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the standards indicated below. For undated references, the latest edition of the normative document applies.

3 Principle
The specimen is subjected to chloroform ultrasonic extraction, and the extraction liquid is purified by alumina chromatography column, diluted to constant volume, determined using gas chromatography-mass spectrometer (GC-MS), and then quantified by external standard method.
4 Reagents and materials
Unless otherwise specified, only recognized analytically pure reagents and Grade III water or water of equivalent purity that meet the requirements specified in GB/T 6682 shall be used for the analysis.
4.1 Chloroform, re-distilled before use.
4.2 N-hexane, re-distilled before use.
4.3 Acetone, re-distilled before use.
