1 Scope
This part specifies the dimensions and other relevant requirements of 14 dentistry diamond rotary instruments of most common shapes, including the quality control of such rotary instruments.

d1: the working part diameter; head diameter
d2: the neck diameter, namely the diameter of shank next to the diamond plating.
d3: the neck diameter of plating, namely the minimum diameter
