1 Scope
This Part of YY 0302 specifies dimensional and other relevant requirements for the 10 most commonly used shapes of steel and carbide burs, including a quality control for these instruments.

3 Classification
Steel and carbide burs shall be classified, according to the material of the working part, into the following two types:
— Type 1: steel burs
— Type 2: carbide burs
