All dielectric self-supporting optical fiber cable
1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, structure, marking, delivery length, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation and storage, and installation recommendations of all dielectric self-supporting optical fiber cable (ADSS).
ADSS optical fiber cable specified in this standard is mainly used for communication lines of high-voltage transmission systems, and may be used in overhead laying environments such as lightning and large span.
This standard requires that the structure and properties provided shall be within the scope of this standard, so as to maintain the insulation property of optical fiber cable components, the integrity of optical fibers and the normal optical transmission.

3 Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following definitions apply.
3.1 rated tensile strength (RTS)
value obtaining by multiplying the product of the total cross-sectional area of the load-bearing components (aramid fiber bundle) and its minimum tensile strength in ADSS optical fiber cable structure by the coefficient k
