1 Scope
This part specifies the product classification, requirements, inspection rules and test methods, packaging, marking, transport and storage for filling compounds for telecommunication cable and optical fibre cable.
This part is applicable to filling compounds for longitudinal water resistance used in telecommunication cable and optical fibre cable that are not in contact with optical fibers, optical fiber bundles, and optical fiber ribbons.
