1 Scope
This standard specifies testing methods for surge protective devices connected to low-voltage distribution systems of telecommunication stations/sites (hereinafter referred to as "surge protective device").
This standard is applicable to quality inspection and assessment of surge protective device connected to low-voltage distribution system of telecommunication stations/sites at all levels (low-voltage side of distribution transformer, a.c. input end of distribution room and power room, a.c and d.c. distribution cabinet (box) at each machine room).
Surge protective device integrated in the equipment may refer to it.
