1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and designation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, storage etc. of epoxy adhesive for precast segmental construction.
This standard is applicable to epoxy adhesives for precast segmental construction.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

precast segment
precast assembling construction unit in factories or on site
3.2
assembling
construction process of connecting or fixing precast segments into a whole
3.3
epoxy adhesive
adhesive composed of epoxy resin, curing agent, accelerant, modifier, diluent and filler
3.4
pot life
duration for the adhesive to reach the specified temperature after it is mixed and placed in a container
3.5
open time
open time to maintain prescribed adhesion properties of adhesive which is mixed and immediately applied on the base surface
