Electric mask
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labelling, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage of electric masks.
This document is applicable to electric masks worn by children aged 6 and above and adults for filtering particulate matters in the air and blocking pathogenic microorganisms, pollen, droplets, secretions, etc. Children shall wear the electric masks under the supervision of caregivers.
This document is not applicable to respiratory protective equipment for special industry uses such as anoxic environment, underwater operation, escape, fire fighting, medical and industrial dust prevention application.

electric mask
filter-type mask overcoming respiratory resistance by providing air flow using an electric fan, which is called a strong function of blocking particulate matters or is called a sanitary electric mask if has a strong function of blocking microorganisms

particulate matter with the aerodynamic equivalent diameter less than or equal to 2.5μm in ambient air, which is also referred to as fine particulate matter
