This standard specifies the technical requirements, test items, grading diagrams, test methods and test rules of metallographic test for nonmetallic inclusions in cast steel.
This standard is generally applicable to the metallographic test for nonmetallic inclusions in cast carbon steel and cast low-alloy steel for general engineering purposes.

3 Technical Requirements
