1 Scope
This standard specifies the terminologies, definitions and symbols, technical requirements, inspection and test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of brake shoes for freight rolling stock of railways.
This standard is applicable to brake shoes for freight rolling stock of railways with the maximum running speed of 120km/h and axle weight of 25t at maximum. Brake shoes for freight rolling stock of railways with axle weight greater than 25t may also refer to this standard.
