1 Scope
This standard specifies the magnetic particle inspection method of rolling bearings for locomotive and rolling stock wheel sets.
This standard is applicable to inspect the newly-made and repaired locomotive and rolling stock wheel sets and rolling bearings by using the continuous magnetic particle inspection method.

3 Personnel Requirements
The inspection personnel shall get Level II or above technical qualification certificate of magnetic particle inspection which issued by the identification and assessment committee of technical qualification for non-destructive inspection personnel by railway department.
