1 General Provisions and Application Scope
1.1 General provisions
In order to strengthen the quality supervision for plate heat exchanger and its gasket and ensure product quality of plate heat exchanger and its gasket, this "Method" is formulated according to national standard NB/T 47004-2009 (JB/T 4752) "Plate Heat Exchanger".
1.2 Application scope
This "Method" is applicable to removable and semi-welding plate heat exchanger (hereinafter referred to as "Plate Heat Exchanger") manufacturer, plate heat exchanger assembly plant and sealing gasket (hereinafter referred to as "Gasket") manufacturer. The above-mentioned enterprises shall obtain the corresponding product safety registration certificates according to this "Method".
1.2.1 Plate Heat Exchanger Manufacturer
Refers to the manufacturer equipped with means of production of plates.
1.2.2 Plate Heat Exchanger Assembly Plant
Refers to the enterprises that are not equipped with means of production of plates and only assembly the plate heat exchanger by outsourcing of plate.
1.2.3 Plate Heat Exchanger Gasket Manufacturer
Refers to the enterprises producing gaskets of plate heat exchanger.
1.3 Unit for application for certificate (hereinafter referred to as “Unit”)
Unit is divided into plate heat exchanger and gasket units.
1.3.1 Plate heat exchanger unit
Plate heat exchanger unit is divided according to the grade and the scope of single plate calculation heat interchanging area.
