1.0.1 This standard is formulated with a view to ensuring the quality of liquid epoxy internal coating for steel pipelines, to extending the service life of pipeline and raising the economic benefit.
1.0.2 This standard is applicable to the design, construction and acceptance of liquid epoxy internal coating for steel pipelines conveying crude oil, natural gas and water with medium temperature not higher than 80℃. Internal coating for steel pipelines conveying refined oil may also refer to this standard. This standard specifies the minimum requirements for materials, structures, coating application, quality inspection, repair, recoating, health, safety and environment protection as well as completion documents etc. of liquid epoxy internal coating for steel pipelines.
1.0.3 The design, coating application, construction and acceptance of liquid epoxy internal coating of steel pipelines shall not only meet the requirements of this standard , but also the current relevant national mandatory standards.
