General specification for chamber case of solid rocket motor
1 Scope
This specification specifies the requirements, quality assurance provisions and delivery preparation of chamber case of solid rocket motor made of metallic materials and filament-wound composite materials (hereinafter referred to as case).
This specification is applicable to the development, production, inspection (or test) and acceptance of cases.

3 Requirements
3.1 General
The case shall meet all requirements specified in this specification and corresponding detailed specifications. If the requirements of this specification are inconsistent with the detailed specifications, the detailed specifications shall prevail.
3.2 Dimensions
3.2.1 The structural dimension (including the overall dimension, assembly dimension, interface dimension, etc.) and geometric tolerance shall meet the requirements of design documents.
3.2.2 The thickness distribution, dimension and deviation of each part of the insulation and stress release boot of the filament-wound composite case shall meet the requirements of design documents.
