For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

standard atmosphere
the ambient conditions determined by the parameters of the specified temperature and relative humidity. A sample is kept for a given period of time before being subjected to tests and its atmosphere is maintained within prescribed tolerances with free airflow and consistent ambient conditions
