——This standard is changed from a mandatory standard to a voluntary standard;
——Appearance content requirement that "the liquid has no obvious precipitations and impurities, while the solid is divided into powder and particle, without obvious mechanical impurities.” is added;
——The division of the original product type: water-soluble macronutrient fertilizer (secondary nutrient type) and water-soluble macronutrient fertilizer (micronutrient type);
——The technical indexes of secondary nutrient and micronutrient are deleted;
——The content of macronutrient in liquid products of water-soluble macronutrient fertilizers is revised to ≥ 400g/L;
——The index of water insoluble matter content to ≤ 1.0% or ≤ 10g/L;
——The technical index with pH between 3.0 and 9.0 is deleted;
——Technical index requirements for chloridion content are increased;
——The limit of biuret content is increased in the technical index, which is ≤ 0.9%;
——The content that “if the solid macroelement water-soluble fertilizer product is in particle shape, the particle size index shall be measured and marked on the product packaging” is added;
——The content that “particle size shall be determined in accordance with those specified in NY/T 3036” is added in the test method;
——“Biuret content shall be determined according to Annex A of NY/T 2670-2020, and high-performance liquid chromatography shall be used as the arbitration method” is added in the test method. The content of sample weighing is specified;
——“Test method: the moisture content shall be determined in accordance with those specified in GB/T 8576 or GB/T 8577” is specified. "GB/T 8577 as arbitration method” is deleted;
——Technical index requirements, limited index requirements, instructions for use and precautions are added to the items specified in the product packaging label;
——The maximum inspection batch is changed to 500t;
——The indication value of sulfur content is deleted;
——Requirements for marking content is increased;
——The types and contents of secondary nutrients and micronutrients may be marked on the product packaging.
This standard was proposed by and is under the jurisdiction of the Planting Industry Management Department, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People's Republic of China.
The previous editions of this standard are as follows:
——NY 1107-2006, NY 1107-2010.
Water-soluble macronutrient fertilizers
1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage for water-soluble macronutrient fertilizers.
This standard is applicable to liquid or solid water-soluble fertilizers produced and sold within the territory of the People's Republic of China, which are mainly composed of macronutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, and can be added with appropriate amount of secondary nutrients or micronutrients.
This standard is not applicable to fertilizer products with mandatory or recommended national or professional standards, such as compound fertilizer (complex fertilizer) and solid fertilizer made only by chemical methods.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
water-soluble fertilizers
liquid or solid fertilizers which are dissolved or diluted by water for fertigation, foliar fertilization, soilless culture, seed soaking and root dipping, etc.
4 Requirements
4.1 Appearance: uniform liquid or solid. The liquid has no obvious precipitations and impurities, while the solid is divided into powder and particle, without obvious mechanical impurities.
4.2 The technical indexes of solid and liquid products of water-soluble macronutrient fertilizers shall meet the requirements of Table 1 and the indication values of packaging marks.
Table 1 Requirements of water-soluble macronutrient fertilizers
Item Solid products Liquid products
Macronutrient content a ≥50.0% ≥400g/L
