1 Scope
This standard specifies the test conditions, content, equipment, methods and steps, etc. of a network energy storage system using an electrochemical secondary battery as an electrical energy storage carrier.
This standard is applicable to the energy storage systems with a rated power of 100kW and above and a rated power discharge time of 15min and above, interconnecting with distribution network at the voltage grade of 35kV and below. It may apply to other types of energy storage systems by reference.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
simulated electric power equipment
an adjustable AC power supply unit that simulates the amplitude, frequency and phase of the network (i.e. power grid) voltage
3.2
interconnection system
assemble including the interconnection of the converter and the power grid, as well as multiple devices such as energy storage system interconnection, energy storage system control, protection, assistance and other equipment, which is shown in Figure 1
