1 Scope
This standard specifies product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage of petroleum coke (green coke) produced through delay coking with various residual oil or heavy oil as raw materials.
This standard covers common petroleum coke (green coke) and petroleum needle coke (green coke).
This standard is applicable to common petroleum coke (green coke) used as the raw material of general power graphite electrode and carbonaceous materials for aluminium as well as petroleum needle coke (green coke) used as the raw material of ultra-high power and high power graphite electrode.
