1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This code is formulated in order to guarantee that the design of surface multi-rope friction hoisting system of coal mine can realize safety production, operation reliability, energy conservation and working condition improvement and achieve advanced technology, economy and rationality.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the determination for surface multi-rope friction hoisting (hereinafter referred to as hoisting) system of coal mine, selection and arrangement of mechanical and electric equipment and design for water supply & drainage, heating and ventilation of hoisting tower (house); while it is not applicable to the design for the relevant building structure, hoisting container and shaft device of the hoisting system.
1.0.3 Design of the hoisting system shall meet not only the requirements of the this code, but also those specified in the current national relevant standards and specifications.
