JC/T 768-2002 Glass fibre filter fabric
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms, classification and designation, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of glass fibre filter fabric.
This standard is applicable to medium-alkali continuous glass fibre filter fabric, alkali-free continuous glass fibre filter fabric, medium-alkali bulked glass fibre filter fabric and alkali-free bulked glass fibre filter fabric for dust collection in dry filter units.

3 Terms
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms apply.
3.1 Filter fabric: A kind of processed fabric made of gray fabric through thermal treatment, impregnation, baking, etc., which is used for gas filtering and industrial dust removal.
3.2 Continuous glass fibre filter fabric: A kind of filter fabric in which both warp and weft yarns are made of continuous glass fibre yarns.
3.3 Bulked glass fibre filter fabric: A kind of filter fabric in which warp yarns are made of continuous glass fibre and weft yarns are made of bulked yarns all or partly.
3.4 Permeability: Performance of air flowing through textiles. It is expressed as the rate of air vertically flowing through the specimen under the specified test area, pressure drop and time.
3.5 Rupture strength: The maximum fluid pressure acting on a specimen with a certain area till expanding and rupture.
