1 Scope
This standard specifies the naming principle, composition and organization method of the types of high-voltage switchgear and controlgear and their complete equipment, fuse as well as enclosed busbar and its auxiliary equipment.
This standard is applicable to high-voltage switchgear and controlgear and their auxiliary equipment with a rated voltage of 3.6kV or above as well as equipment under the unified management of high-voltage switch industry, such as high-voltage/low-voltage prefabricated substation.
Including:
- high-voltage A.C. circuit breaker (hereinafter referred to as "circuit breaker");
- high-voltage A.C. isolating switch (hereinafter referred to as "isolating switch");
- high-voltage A.C. load switch (hereinafter referred to as "load switch");
- high-voltage A.C. earthing switch (hereinafter referred to as "earthing switch");
- high-voltage A.C. contactor (hereinafter referred to as "contactor");
- high-voltage A.C. automatic recloser (hereinafter referred to as "recloser");
- high-voltage A.C. automatic sectionalizer (hereinafter referred to as "sectionalizer");
- high-voltage A.C. fuse (hereinafter referred to as "fuse");
- high-voltage A.C. load switch - fuse switchgear (hereinafter referred to as "load switch - fuse switchgear");
- high-voltage A.C. contactor - fuse switchgear (hereinafter referred to as "contactor - fuse switchgear");
- A.C. metal-enclosed switchgear and controlgear;
- high-voltage/low-voltage prefabricated substation (hereinafter referred to as "prefabricated substation");
- gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear (herein after referred to as "GIS");
- hybrid gas insulated switchgear (hybrid gas insulated switchgear "H-GIS");
- conventional air insulated switchgear (C-AIS);
- rigid gas-insulated metal-enclosed transmission line (GIL);
- metal-enclosed busbar;
- cable distribution box;
- operating device;
- vacuum arc extinguishing chamber;
- auxiliary equipment.
Note 1: The switchgear based on tank-type circuit breaker is referred to as H-GIS while the switchgear based on knob-type circuit breaker C-AIS.
Note 2: The auxiliary equipment mainly refers to electromagnetic lock, mechanical lock, charged display device, electronic device, connector base, sulphur-hexafluoride aeration and recovery device and auxiliary switch which are provided for switchgear to form independent products. The organization of the types of other auxiliary equipment under high-voltage switch industry may refer to this standard.
