1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection methods and inspection rules for the bearing rings made from 45 steel meeting the requirements of GB/T 699-1999 or the quality carbon structural steels with equivalent performance after forging or forging annealing and quenching and tempering as well as the technical requirements, inspection methods and inspection rules for the carburizing, quenching and tempering of the carbon steel balls made from 10 and 15 quality carbon structural steels or carbon steels with the similar carbon content and mechanical property.
This standard is applicable to the heat treatment quality inspection of bearing parts made from above-mentioned steels. Bearing parts with special requirements and carbon steel balls for other purposes shall comply with the requirements of product drawing.
