1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This standard is formulated in order to regulate the design of steel manholes and handholes, reduce the repetitive design work, ensure the product quality and improve the comprehensive benefits.
1.0.2 This standard is applicable to steel manholes and handholes with nominal pressure of atmospheric pressure or PN2.5~PN63 and working temperature of -70℃~500℃ in chemical, petrochemical and other similar devices.
1.0.3 The material, design, manufacture, inspection and acceptance of steel manholes and handholes shall not only conform to this standard, but also comply with those stipulated in the current relevant standards of the nation.
2 Types
2.0.1 Types of steel manholes and handholes (including sealing surface type and code, nominal diameter and nominal pressure parameters, etc.) shall meet the requirements of Table 2.0.1.
