1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of cargo hold paint for ship.
This standard is applicable to the paint for protection of the dry cargo hold of ship and the steel structure in the cargo hold.

Cargo hold paint for ship is classified into Type I and Type II, among which Type I is mono-component paint while Type II is bi-component paint.
