1 Scope
This standard specifies the methods of measuring the color of light sources.
This standard is applicable to the measurement of the color of various light sources.
2 Normative references
The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this standard, constitute provisions of this standard. For dated references, subsequent amendments (excluding corrections) to, or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However parties to agreements based on this standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent edition of the normative documents indicated below. For undated references, the latest edition of the normative document applies.
GB/T 3979 Methods for the measurement of object color

3 Classification of measuring methods
3.1 By the measuring sites, the measurement of the color of light sources may be classified into laboratory measurement and field measurement.
3.2 By the principle of measurement, the measurement of the color of light sources may be classified into spectral radiation colorimetry and tristimulus value direct reading method. In case of high accuracy requirement for the measurement, the spectral radiation colorimetry shall be adopted.
3.3 By the type of light source, the measurement of the color of light sources may be classified into measurement of the color of general light source and that of LED light source.
