1 Scope
This document specifies the requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage of water-based coated paper and board for food packaging, describes the corresponding test methods, and gives information on classification.
This document is applicable to the production, inspection and sale of water-based coated paper and board for food packaging.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

4 Classification
4.1 Water-based coated paper and board for food packaging are classified into type I, Type II and type III according to their uses. Type I is generally used for packaging hamburgers, pastries, etc.; Type II is generally used for processing paper bags containing dried fruits, disposable drinking paper bags, etc.; Type III is generally used for processing paper cups, paper bowls, paper lunch boxes, etc.
4.2 Water-based coated paper and board for food packaging are classified into single-side coated and both-side coated according to the coating method.
4.3 Water-based coated paper and board for food packaging are classified into web paper and flat paper according to the packaging form.
