General specification for brushless DC torque motors
1 Scope
This document specifies the classification and model, technical requirements, inspection rules, inspection methods, inspection rules and delivery preparation of brushless DC torque motors.
This document is applicable to brushless DC torque motors (including assembled and split motors) of rotating mechanisms such as automatic driving steering wheel, machine tool turntable and robot base. It can serve as a reference for brushless DC torque motors in other equipment.
This document shall be used together with the Specific specification for brushless DC torque motors (hereinafter referred to as the Specific Specifications for Products). The technical indexes and additional special requirements of all kinds of brushless DC torque motors are stipulated in the Specific Specifications for Products.
This document does not contain requirements for motor drivers and sensors.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 2900.26 apply.
4 Classification and model
4.1 Classification
Motors are classified into two types according to structure: split and assembled type.
4.2 Model
4.2.1 Model structure
The model of motors consists of four parts: the frame number, the product name code, the performance parameter code and the derivative code. The product name code is represented by uppercase Chinese Pinyin letters.
a) LW represents brushless DC torque motors (Al-Ni-Co);
b) LWX represents brushless DC torque motor (rare earth).
