1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, dimension, shape, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packing, marking, quality certification of the carbon spring steel wire for significant use.
This standard is applicable to manufacturing such springs with high stress or the valve springs for significant use that will not pass through heat treatment or only through low temperature tempering.
