Electrochemical performance test of lithium ion battery cathode materials - Test method for high temperature performance
1 Scope
This document specifies the test method for high temperature performance of electrochemical performance test of lithium ion battery cathode materials, including high temperature storage test and high temperature cycle test.
This document is applicable to the electrochemical performance test of cathode materials such as lithium cobalt oxide, lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide, nickel cobalt aluminum oxide, lithium manganese oxide, lithium iron phosphate, lithium-manganese-rich layered oxides.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 2900.1-2008, GB/T 20252-2014, GB/T 31484-2015 and the following apply.

charge and discharge
process of charging to the limited charging voltage with the specified current, and turn to constant voltage charge; standing for a period of time and discharging at a specified current to an end of discharge voltage

For the purposes of this document, the following symbols apply:
C: the rated capacity of battery at a rate of discharge at which the cell gets discharged fully in 1 h;
1C: the current corresponding to a rate of discharge at which the cell gets discharged fully in 1 h;
0.5C: the current corresponding to a rate of discharge at which the cell gets discharged fully in 2 h;
0.33C: the current corresponding to a rate of discharge at which the cell gets discharged fully in 3 h;
0.2C: the current corresponding to a rate of discharge at which the cell gets discharged fully in 5 h;
0.1C: the current corresponding to a rate of discharge at which the cell gets discharged fully in 10 h;
0.02C: the current corresponding to a rate of discharge at which the cell gets discharged fully in 50 h;
0.01C: the current corresponding to a rate of discharge at which the cell gets discharged fully in 100 h;
0.05C: the current corresponding to a rate of discharge at which the cell gets discharged fully in 20 h.
