3 Classification
3.1 Type
Products are classified into polymer membrane-based waterproofing sheets and waterproofing sheets with polyester padding (PY type) by reinforcing materials; the polymer film-based waterproofing sheets can be subdivided into high-strength (H type) and high-elongation (E type) waterproofing sheets, with the polymer film applied to the surface or middle of the sheets.
The products are classified into single-side adhesion (S) and double-side adhesion (D) sheets by bonding surface.
3.2 Specification
Product thickness:
H type and E type: 1.5mm and 2.0mm.
PY type: 3.0mm.
Other specifications can be determined through negotiations between the Supplier and the Demander.
3.3 Identification
Products are identified in the order of name, serial No. of this standard, type, bonding surface, full thickness and area.
Example: wet installed polyester reinforced double-side adhesive waterproofing sheets with 10m2 in area and 3.0mm in thickness is identified as:
Wet installed waterproofing sheet GB/T 35467-2017-PY 3.0-10.
3.4 Purpose
Wet installed waterproofing sheets are used for non-exposed waterproofing work and are bonded to concrete base course using cement paste or cement mortar. Self-adhesive overlapping should be adopted for the sheets.
4 Requirements
4.1 Area, mass per unit area and thickness
4.1.1 The area shall not be less than 99% of the marked product area.
4.1.2 The mass per unit area and thickness of PY type product shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 1.
4.1.3 The average thickness of H and E types sheet shall not be less than the nominal value.
4.1.4 The thickness shall not be less than 1.5mm (for H and E types products) and 3.0mm (for PY type product).

Item Index
Mass per unit area /(kg/m3) ≥ 3.1
Thickness/mm Average ≥ 3.0
Minimum single value ≥ 2.7
4.2 Appearance
4.2.1 Rolled sheets shall be rolled tightly and evenly, with the uneven part at the end surface not exceeding 20mm.
4.2.2 When the rolled sheets are unrolled at any product temperature between 4℃~45℃, there shall be no cracks or bonded parts (with the length exceeding 10 mm) at the position 1,000mm away from the core.
4.2.3 The padding of PY type product shall be impregnated without strips which are not impregnated. The surface of H and E types sheets shall be free from mineral grains.
4.2.4 Sheet surface shall be free from hole, caking, bubble, chipped edge and gap. The glue layer shall be continuous.
4.2.5 Each roll of sheets shall have no more than 1 joint; the shorter section shall not be less than 1,000 mm; the joint shall be cut neatly and lengthened by 150mm.
4.3 Physical and mechanical properties
The physical and mechanical properties of product shall meet the requirements given in Table 2.

5 Test Methods
5.1 Standard conditions
Standard curing conditions of cement mortar are: the temperature of (20±2)℃ and the relative humidity greater than or equal to 95%.
5.2 Preparation of test piece
Cut the test piece after placing for 24h at (23±2)℃. For each group of test pieces, the cutting shall be distributed uniformly in sheet width direction. For peel strength test, bulk specimen may be adopted for specimen preparation, being kept away from coil edge more than 100mm, and the trimmed test piece shall be free from burr.
