Protective coverings for electric cables — Part 2: Protective coverings for cables with metallic sheath
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 2952 specifies the model, name, structure, material, dimension and technical requirements of general protective coverings for cables with metallic sheath and specific protective coverings for oil-filled cables with lead sheath.
This part is applicable to the protective coverings for fixed formation cables with metallic sheath, such as electric power, communication, signal, control and oil-filled cables.
This part is not applicable to the protective coverings for power cables and other cables with special requirements.

3.1 Model and name of general protective coverings for cables with metallic sheath
The model and name of general protective coverings for cables with metallic sheath shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 2952.1-2008 and Table 1, and shall be applied to the major laying places listed in Table 1.
