1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for reactive power compensation for connecting photovoltaic (PV) power station to power system.
This standard is applicable to newly-built, renovated and extended PV power station realizing interconnection through 35kV or above voltage classes and connecting to public supply network through voltage of 10kV.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

photovoltaic (PV) power station
the power generation system converting solar radiation energy into power directly through the photovoltaic effect of photovoltaic cell, generally including transformer, inverter, photovoltaic array as well as relevant auxiliary facilities
3.2
point of interconnection
for PV power station provided with booster station, it refers to the busbar or node at the high voltage side of booster station; for the PV power station without booster station, it refers to the output collection point of PV power station
