3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
garden patrol minibus
non-enclosed passenger car with more than 6 (inclusive) seats and less than 23 (inclusive) seats, which are driven by electric motor, internal combustion engine or both alternately and have 4 or more wheels. The car of this model is designed for leisure and sightseeing, and is suitable for running in designated areas such as tourist scenic spots, comprehensive communities and pedestrian streets
3.2
sightseeing combination bus
combination of a sightseeing bus and one or more compartments, of which the application area is the same as that of sightseeing bus
Note: Sightseeing combination bus is a special type of sightseeing bus.
3.3
hill starting ability
ability of the sightseeing bus to start on the ramp with the maximum gradeability and drive upwards for at least 10m within 1min (when the current of electric sightseeing bus motor is not greater than the permissible current)
3.4
reference energy consumption
value of electric energy obtained from the power grid used for recharging the power battery of sightseeing bus to the pre-test capacity after the test cycle under the specified constant speed driving condition, divided by the driving distance, in watt-hour per kilometer (W·h/km)
3.5
limited driving distance
driving distance of sightseeing bus from the battery being fully charged to the permissible discharge level by driving under the specified test conditions, in kilometers (km)
