1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of edible dextrose.
This standard is applicable to the production, inspection and sales of edible dextrose.

dextrose monohydrate
product containing crystal water produced by refining, concentration and cooling crystallization of dextrose liquid that is obtained by liquidation and saccharification of starch or starch-based materials
3.2
dextrose anhydrate
product produced by refining, concentration and evaporative crystallization of dextrose liquid that is obtained by liquidation and saccharification of starch or starch-based materials
