Methods for chemical analysis of aluminate cement
1 Scope
This document specifies the basic requirements, reagents and materials, instruments and apparatus, specimen preparation, reference method and alternative method for chemical analysis of aluminate cement.
This document is applicable to the chemical analysis of aluminate cement, sulphoaluminate cement and aluminum calibration materials used in cement production.

4 General requirements for test
4.1 Number of tests and requirements
The number of tests for determination of each item shall be two. The absolute difference between two results shall be within the tolerance in the same laboratory (see Table 2). The mean of the two test results shall be used to express the determination result.
Unless otherwise stated, it is recommended that the determination of loss on ignition shall be carried out in parallel in chemical analysis; for other determinations, blank test shall be carried out in parallel, and the determination results shall be corrected.
4.2 Expression of masses, volumes, volume ratios, titers and results
Express masses in “grams (g)” to the nearest of 0.0001g and volumes from burettes in “milliliters (mL)” to the nearest of 0.01mL. Express the titers of solutions in “milligrams per milliliter (mg/mL)”. The results of titer and volume ratio are rounded off to four significant figures.
Unless otherwise stated, all analysis results shall be based on mass fraction. The analysis result of chloride ion shall be rounded off to three decimal places, and the analysis result of other items shall be rounded off to two decimal places.
The rounding off of numerical value shall comply with GB/T 8170.
4.3 Blank test
Unless otherwise stated, conduct the test following the same determination steps without adding the specimen but using an equal amount of reagent. Correct the obtained determination results accordingly.
