Determination method for chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine hydrochloride - Liquid chromatography method
1 Scope
This standard specifies the liquid chromatography method which is used for determining chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine hydrochloride.
This standard is applicable to the determination of chondroitin sulfate and its glucosamine hydrochloride extracted from cartilage tissues of cattle, pigs and sharks.
2 Normative references
The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard. For dated references, subsequent amendments (excluding corrections) to, or revisions, of any of these publications do not apply. However parties to agreements based on this standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the normative documents indicated below. For undated references, the latest edition applies.

3 Principle
The chondroitin sulfate samples are dispersed uniformly with acetonitrile, dissolved in water, determined at a wavelength of 192 nm after being separated with liquid chromatography, and quantified with external standard method.
