1 Scope
This part of GB/T 17394 specifies the test principle, test instruments, specimen, test procedure, uncertainty of measurement of test result, and test report for using hardness testers with Types D, DC, S, E, D+15, DL, C and G impact devices to determine the Leeb hardness of metallic materials.
This part is applicable to the Leeb hardness testers with Types D, DC, S, E, D+15, DL, C and G impact devices; see Table 1.
