1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for determination of chloride in the water for industrial circulating cooling system and boiler.
In this standard, Mohr method and potentiometric titration specified are applicable to determination of chloride in natural water, circulating cooling water and boiler water using softened water as feedwater, the determination scope is between 5mg/L and 150mg/L; coprecipitation concentration and spectrophotometry is applicable to the determination of chloride in demineralized water and boiler feedwater, and the determination scope is between 10μg/L and 100μg/L.
