Methods for the measurement of volume flow of gas of water-ring vacuum pumps and compressors
1 Scope
This standard specifies the devices, methods and requirements for measuring the volume flow of gas during factory tests of water-ring vacuum pumps and compressors (collectively referred to as water-ring pumps without distinction).
This standard is applicable to the measurement of volume flow of gas of water-ring pumps with orifice plates and metering nozzles, but metering nozzles are only applicable to the measurement of volume flow of gas of water-ring vacuum pumps.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the terms and definitions specified in GB/T 3163, GB/T 13929 and JB/T 7255 apply.
4 Measurement methods
4.1 General requirements
4.1.1 Conditions for measuring the volume flow of gas: the ambient conditions (natural environment not under human control such as pressure, temperature and humidity) during measurement, and the appropriate temperature of air medium to be 0℃~35℃.
4.1.2 Stated intake conditions: atmospheric pressure to be 1,013.25hPa, gas temperature 20℃, and relative humidity of gas 70%.
4.1.3 When the conditions for measuring the volume flow of gas do not conform to the stated gas intake conditions, the results under the measurement conditions can be converted into the volume flow of gas under the stated intake conditions.
