Cold rolled low carbon steel sheets and strips for vitreous enamelling
1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification and code, dimension, shape, weight, technical requirements, inspection and test, packaging, marking and quality certificate of cold rolled low carbon steel sheets and strips for vitreous enamelling.
This standard is applicable to cold rolled low carbon steel sheets and strips in rolled widths equal to or over 600 mm and in thicknesses of 0.30 mm~3.0 mm for civil enameling or industrial enameling (hereinafter referred to as steel sheets and strips).

3 Classification and code
3.1 Naming method of designation
The designation of steel sheets and strips is composed of four parts, the first part is letter D, representing steel sheets and strips for cold forming; the second part is letter C, representing the cold rolled condition; the third part is a two-digit serial No., i.e. 01, 03 and 05, etc., representing the punch forming grade; and the fourth part is the code of processing type of enamelling.
