1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification and labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, package and storage of marine forged steel male thread stop-check valves (hereafter referred to as stop-check valves).
This standard is applicable to the design, manufacturing and acceptance of stop-check valve for marine pipeline system with fuel oil, lubricating oil, fresh water, air and vapor with temperature not exceeding 250℃ as medium.

3 Classification and Labeling
3.1 Type
Stop-check valves are classified into the following two types:
Type A - through-type stop-check valve;
Type B - perpendicular-type stop-check valve.
