1 Scope
This part of GB/T 11017 specifies the basic structure, model designation, technical requirements, test and acceptance rules, packaging, and transportation and storage of accessories for power cables with cross-linked polyethylene insulation for rated voltage of 110 kV (Um = 126 kV).
This part is applicable to outdoor terminations, gas-immersed terminations for GIS, oil-immersed (transformer) terminations, straight joints and sectionalizing joints used for power cables with cross-linked polyethylene insulation for rated voltage of 110 kV (Um = 126 kV) conforming to GB/T 11017.1-2014 under general installation conditions.
This part is not applicable to tape insulated joints, transition joints for connecting power cables with cross-linked polyethylene insulation and paper insulated cables, and detachable cable terminations.
