1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This code is formulated with a view to further implementing the relevant laws, regulations and policies of the nation, making full use of solar resource, optimizing national energy structure, establishing safe energy supply system, popularizing application of photovoltaic power generation technology, standardizing the design behavior of PV power station, and promoting healthy and orderly development of the construction of PV power station.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to newly-constructed, extended or renovated grid-connected PV power station and 100kWp or above independent PV power station.
1.0.3 Construction of grid-connected PV power station shall be subject to feasibility study on technical scheme for power grid connection.
1.0.4 In addition to the requirements stipulated in this code, the design of PV power station shall also comply with those in the relevant current standards of the nation.
2 Terms and Symbols
2.1 Terms
2.1.1 PV module
smallest indivisible solar cell combined device with packaging and internal connection and being capable of provide DC electrical output separately, which is also known as solar cell module
2.1.2 photovoltaic modules string
circuit unit with certain DC electrical output formed by connecting several PV modules in series in PV power generation system
2.1.3 photovoltaic (PV) power unit
power supply meeting frequency and voltage requirements of power grid, which is formed by a certain number of photovoltaic modules strings through collection by DC combiner box, inversion by inverter and voltage boosting by isolated step-up transformer in PV power station, which is also known as unit power generation module
2.1.4 PV array
DC power generation unit composed of several PV modules which are mechanically and electrically assembled together according to certain mode and are also of fixed supporting structure. It is also known as photovoltaic array
2.1.5 photovoltaic (PV) power generation system
power generation system directly converting solar radiation energy to electric energy by utilizing the photovoltaic effect of solar cell
2.1.6 photovoltaic (PV) power station
power station mainly composed of PV power generation system and also including various buildings (structures) and auxiliary facilities for overhaul, maintenance and living
2.1.7 radial connection
connection between each PV power unit and the bus of power station via circuit breaker
2.1.8 tapped connection
connection between several parallel PV power units and the bus of PV power station via one circuit breaker
2.1.9 tracking system
system carrying out real-time tracking of solar incidence direction by the rotation of stent system, to make the illuminated face of PV array receiving as much solar irradiation as possible, in order to increase generation capacity
2.1.10 single-axis tracking system
tracking system making the illuminated face of PV module being as perpendicular to the incident angle of sunlight as possible in one-dimensional direction by rotating around the one-dimensional axis
2.1.11 double-axis tracking system
tracking system making the illuminated face of PV module being always perpendicular to the incident angle of sunlight by rotating around the two-dimensional axes
2.1.12 collector line
DC/AC power transmission line in the PV power generation system provided with decentralized inversion and centralized grid connection, through which the electric energy output by each photovoltaic modules string is converged into inverter through combiner box and then collected into power generation bus through output end of inverter
2.1.13 point of common coupling (PCC)
coupling point with more than one user in power grid
2.1.14 point of coupling (POC)
bus or node at high-voltage side of step-up station in case of PV power station with step-up station, or output collection point of PV power station in case of the one without step-up station
