General technical requirements for push-bar emergency exit locks
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of push-bar emergency exit locks.
This standard is applicable to push-bar emergency exit locks installed on evacuation doors.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 5907, GB/T 7633 and QB/T 3836-1999 as well as the following apply.

lock installed on the side of the evacuation direction of the evacuation door to realize the function of opening the evacuation direction by pushing the bar manually It includes mechanical push-bar emergency exit lock, linkage-controlled push-bar emergency exit lock with alarm and non-linkage-controlled push-bar emergency exit lock with alarm

mechanical push-bar emergency exit lock
push-bar emergency exit lock that realizes the opening and closing function through a mechanical device. It is not designed with electronic alarm and linkage alarm function with control panel for fire alarm or control panel for fire linkage

linkage-controlled push-bar emergency exit lock with alarm
push-bar emergency exit lock that realizes the opening and closing function through a mechanical device. It is designed with electronic alarm and linkage alarm function with control panel for fire alarm or control panel for fire linkage
3.1.3
non-linkage-controlled push-bar emergency exit lock with alarm
push-bar emergency exit lock that realizes the opening and closing function through a mechanical device. It is designed with electronic alarm but not linkage alarm function with control panel for fire alarm or control panel for fire linkage
4 Classification
4.1 By use functions, push-bar emergency exit locks are classified into:
a) Mechanical push-bar emergency exit lock, which is designated with code J;
b) Linkage-controlled push-bar emergency exit lock with alarm, which is designated with code BL;
