3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
musical instrument packing
object placed indoors for protecting, holding and using with musical instruments in normal use
Note: It includes cases, boxes, bags, etc. for musical instruments.
3.2
musical instruments which directly contact with mouth
part or product in direct contact with the player's mouth
3.3
climate chamber
test equipment composed of chamber, air circulation device, air exchange device, air purification device, temperature and humidity control device, detection device, etc. with controlled operating parameters, which is used for simulating the release environment of volatile organic compounds in musical instruments
[Source: GB/T 31107-2014, 3.1, modified]
3.4
volume of climate chamber
effective volume of chamber space at no load
3.5
volume loading factor rate
ratio of the total volumes of different parts of the outer contour of test sample to the volume of climate chamber
3.6
air velocity
velocity of air flow in a climate chamber at no load
3.7
air exchange rate
ratio of the volume of clean air entering the climate chamber to the volume of climate chamber per unit time
