1 Scope
This standard specifies main signs of mine to transmit safety warning information.
This standard is applicable to the arrangement requirements of safety signs in various mines.

3 Classification
3.1 The mine safety signs are classified into main signs and complementary signs.
3.2 Main signs
3.2.1 Prohibition sign: a sign to prohibit or prevent people from doing some behaviors.
3.2.2 Warning sign: a sign to warn people the potential hazard.
3.2.3 Mandatory sign: a sign to instruct that people must comply with some requirements.
3.2.4 Road sign, nameplate and information sign: a sign to indicate the direction and location to people.
